Parents are responsible for payment as services are rendered.  Private occupational therapy is usually reimbursable, but based on therapeutic need.  The parent is responsible for all contacts with the insurance company to determine eligibility and reimbursement for services. This allows me to provide therapy rates significantly lower than standard rates.
